1 Corinthians 16:13 Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong.
Ephesians 3:16 That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; 17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; 19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God. 20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, 21 Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.
Our Continual Stand In Him
.. Wooing us so that we make those right choices, those right confessions that line up with His Word. Everything that we do is In Him – in Christ – what He has done for us. Because he has overcome the world we to overcome the world, as He endured the cross to the end so we likewise endure. Everything that Christ has done he does for us on the basis of believing yielding trusting Him as He preserves and keeps us.
God wants us to stand in these last days. So much of what God is doing in us is for this very purpose. Much of what we encounter day by day is designed for our continual stand and faithfulness. Every day when you wake up God is working in yours and my life enabling us to be able to stand and endure against all odds.. whatever the enemy throws at us.
Matthew 16:18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
Stand And Don’t Retract
We find that through history persecution The Body Of Christ waxes stronger and bolder. Why – it’s because our continual stand is in Him. The apostle is encouraging us to stand and not retract because this is what many do, most Christians know of someone who has gone back. They failed to understand that their standing and endurance was in Christ. He wants us to hold on to that – to believe that and to make that our confession.. ..
